The AIMC Breakfast Buffet is complimentary for all delegates, no matter where they are staying on the Gold Coast, as follows:

When: Mon Oct 21, Tue Oct 22 & Wed Oct 23 – 6.30-10.30am
Where: Grand Ballroom, Level 1, Sofitel Gold Coast Broadbeach

Breakfast vouchers cannot be used at Sofitel Bistro On3 or for room service.

AIMC delegates will receive one complimentary buffet breakfast voucher for each day they are registered.

The vouchers will be provided when you collect your Name Badge from the Registration Desk at Event Cinemas Pacific Fair.

Last year a lot of delegates chose to walk but it will be hotter this year – the survey will give us an indication of whether we have your needs covered.

AIMC Registration

Located at the front of Event Cinemas PacFair, AIMC Registration will open:

Sun: 3-7 pm
Mon: 8am – 5pm
Tue: 8.30am – 5pm
Wed: 9.15 – 10.30am

Please bring photo ID to register and collect your name badge, printed program, shuttle timetable and breakfast vouchers.

Shuttles from Sofitel to Event Cinemas

The AIMC will provide a Shuttle Service between Sofitel Gold Coast Broadbeach andPacific Fair daily. Delegates staying at other Broadbeach hotels are of course welcome to use this service. You’ll receive a printed shuttle timetable when you collect your Registration documents and the timetable will also be published on our App.

If you are a delegate that definfitely wants to use the Shuttle, please complete our Shuttle Bus Survey on the AIMC app (see above) – that doesn’t make a specific booking for you but it will give us an idea of numbers.

AIMC 2019 Embargo

Our distribution partners work hard to negotiate access to special upcoming collateral, assets and films to share with AIMC delegates They can only continue to do that if we respect and strictly comply with our embargo.

We respectfully remind you that by registering for the AIMC, you agreed to the following embargo as part of our Terms & Conditions:

Any comments or discourse related to any feature films or trailers shown by the film distributors at the AIMC, or proprietary information about their upcoming releases, must not be published or discussed until the relevant film has commenced its commercial season in Australia.

This applies to any blogs, forums, online chats, all social media including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat and Periscope, as well as all media outlets, including but not limited to television, radio, online, in-house newsletters, print publications including student publications.

We appreciate that you have agreed that you will not break this embargo or assist any other party to do so.

All delegates will be required to sign our 2019 Embargo in order to collect their Name Badge from the Registration Desk. We appreciate your co-operation.

Dress Code

For most sessions, smart casual / work attire is appropriate. For the Coca-Cola AIMC Gala Dinner, Cocktail/After 5/Lounge Suit (tie optional) attire is recommended.And don’t forget your dancing shoes!

On the Gold Coast, late October weather is generally dry, sunny days and mild tropical evenings with average temps between 16.9 – 25.4°C (62.4 – 77.7°F).
