AIMC 2019 Program – what’s different?

----
We asked delegates for feedback last year on a range of things, from being in a new venue, to whether it was preferable to hold the Convention in August or October.

We heard you. Everyone prefers watching films in a cinema.  Most voted for October. You want speakers up-to-date with worldwide industry trends. And, in October, people don’t want to be away from their offices/cinemas for too long.

Given recent changes in the distribution landscape, there are two distributor slots that won’t need to be accommodated this year.

So – we think we can provide a full, engaging program, plus some quality screenings and good networking opportunities, streamlined within the following framework:

Sun, Oct 20    Golf / Welcome Function/Film Premiere or screening

Mon, Oct 21    Opening Address / Distributor Presentations / Film Screening(s) / Networking opportunity

Tue, Oct 22    Distributor Presentations / Keynote Speaker / Screening / Gala Dinner

Wed, Oct 23   Trade Presentations / Screenings

That framework gives us the opportunity to pass on cost savings to delegates as well, including saving one night’s accommodation.

Click here to see the draft program – we’ll stay with these timings unless we need to make a change to accommodate a really worthwhile opportunity. As specifics become available, we will update this program.
